The European Tour returns to Le Golf National in Paris, France for the 103rd edition of the Open de France. Last year, Alex Noren earned his 10th career win by one shot over three players, and he’s back to defend his title against a tough field. Past winners of the Open de France in the field include Marcel Siem and Thongchai Jaidee, and other notables include 5-time European Tour winner and hometown favorite Alexander Levy, along with two-time major champions Jose Maria Olazabal and Martin Kaymer.
Le Golf National - will host this event for the 27th time in its illustrious history. Aside from this event, the golf course has also hosted the2018 Ryder Cup, and will host the Summer Olympics in 2024.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Kurt Kitayama: He won two events early in the 2019 season, and earned a solo third in the Italian Open last week. Currently 15th in the Race to Dubai standings, Kurt can make a major statement as a Player of the Year candidate by adding his 3rd win of his young career.
Victor Perez: The Frenchman earned his first career European Tour victory two weeks ago at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, and is currently ranked 20th in the Race to Dubai. Playing in his national open should provide the boost he needs to continue what has been an incredible season.
