The final event of the 2018-2019 regular PGA Tour season kicks off this week at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina. Last year, Brandt Snedeker won his second Wyndham title by three strokes over two players for his 9th career victory. He’s back to defend his title against a field stacked with talent, including past Wyndham Championship winners Si Woo Kim and last year’s runner-up Webb Simpson. Other notables in the field include last week’s winner and newest Tour member Collin Morikawa, and Matthew Wolff, who also won as a non-member earlier this month.
Sedgefield Country Club :
will host his event for the 12th consecutive year. A beautiful Donald Ross-designed golf course, Sedgefield was renovated in2007 and is one of the Tour’s favorite places to play.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Jordan Speith: It’s been a bit of a comeback year for the 3-time major champion, but he currently sits 69th in the FedEx Cup standings. With only three Playoff events in this condensed schedule, this is a great opportunity for Jordan to make a move.
Webb Simpson: The 2011 Champion and 2018 runner-up, Webb has shown a knack for this golf course for nearly a decade. Don’t be surprised to see Webb contend yet again in Greensboro.
