2018 Hero World Challenge Wrap-Up

It was a tightly-contested golf tournament throughout the four rounds, but in the end, Jon Rahm pulled ahead of the field to win the Hero World Challenge by four strokes over Tony Finau. Having started the day tied for the lead with Finau and Henrik Stenson, Jon Rahm started out with a birdie on 3, then followed with more birdies on 6, 7, and 9 to make the turn in 4-under 32 to take a two-stroke edge over Tony Finau going into the back 9. The turning point in the tournament would occur on the 14th hole, where Finau struggled, making double-bogey 6 while Jon Rahm made birdie. The result for Rahm would be a bogey-free 7-under 65 and a win to cap off his 2018 calendar year.

Next week, the QBE Shootout will showcase one the most popular team events in golf.
