Week one of the FedEx Cup Playoffs is officially in the books, with Bryson DeChambeau emerging victorious by 4 strokes over Tony Finau. Having started the final round with a four stroke lead over Keegan Bradley, Bryson opened with back-to-back birdies, only to give them back with bogeys on the third and ninth holes, making the turn with his lead cut to two. After birdies on 12 and 13, no one else could muster a run and his final-round 2-under 69 helped him cruise to his third career PGA Tour victory and 2nd victory this season. With his win, DeChambeau takes the lead in the FedEx Cup standings with three weeks remaining.
Next week, the top 100 players in the FedEx Cup standings advance to event #2 of the Playoffs in Boston, Massachusetts at the Dell Technologies Championship.
