2019 Farmers Insurance Open Wrap-Up

Justin Rose, the current world #1 showed why he's the best player on the planet at this moment with his two-stroke victory over Adam Scott in the Farmers Insurance Open. Beginning the final round with a 3-shot advantage over Scott, Rosey stumbled early with 3 bogeys in the first 6 holes, offset by only one birdie. However, the other players in the final group would struggle as well, and when Justin birdied 7 and 9, he found himself with the same cushion he had to start the day. A birdie on 10 would further add to Rose's lead, and despite a late charge from Adam Scott, Rose would spin a wedge to tap-in range on 18 for closing birdie and a 3-under 69 to secure his 10th career PGA Tour win and pad his lead in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Tiger Woods saved his best golf for the final round to finish in a tie for 20th.

Next week, the PGA Tour heads to Phoenix, Arizona for the raucous crowds at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
