It was an exciting weekend of golf for the 16 two-player teams, and in the end Team Ireland, consisting of Gavin Moynihan and Paul Dunne, earned the title in a finals match against the French duo of Romain Wattel and Mike Lorenzo-Vera.
It was a strong performance from the Irishmen, who lost just one match and only three holes total over the weekend. Although it's not an official event, the tournament should serve as a boost for Moynihan, who is 0-8 in cuts for the 2018 season. For Paul Dunne, it further solidifies what has been a good season; he's had two top-10s in his previous three starts coming into this week.
Next week, the European Tour heads to Italy for the Rocco Forte Sicilian Open.
