European Tour golf fans were treated to a thrilling final round at the Porsche European Open, where Richard McEvoy held on to a one-shot victory over Amateur Allen John, Christofer Blomstrand, and Renato Paratore. After starting the final round tied for the lead with Bryson DeChambeau, McEvoy struggled as did most of the final few groups. Going out in 1-over 35, Richard McEvoy bogeyed 12, 13 and 17, two of which were offset by birdies at 11 and 15. Heading into the 18th hole tied for the lead, the 39-year-old Englishman holed a 20-foot birdie to secure his first Tour victory in 285 starts. Coming off a win in last week’s Challenge Tour event, it’s safe to say that he’s playing some of the best golf of his life.

Next week, the European Tour heads to the island of Fiji for the Fiji International presented by Fiji Airways
