2018 Valspar Championship Preview
The PGA Tour continues its Florida Swing in Tampa at the Valspar Championship. Last year, Adam Hadwin broke through for his first Tour victory with a one-shot victory over Patrick Cantlay. Tiger Woods headlines the field once again, making a last-minute commitment to play in this event for the first time in his career as he tries to get as many tournament rounds in before the Masters. Other notables in the field include past Valspar Championship winners Jordan Spieth and Kevin Streelman, as well as former FedEx Cup Champions Henrik Stenson and Brandt Snedeker.
The Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort is known as one of the more difficult tests of golf on the PGA Tour. A player who can sneak into double-digits under par will find themselves with a great chance to win.

Rory McIlroy: Copperhead is known as a ball-striker’s golf course, which is right up Rory’s alley. He’s been flirting with great play as of late; it shouldn’t be a surprise to see him challenging this week.Embed from Getty Images
Tiger Woods: With two top-25 finishes this season in his comeback from back fusion surgery, he showed everyone in The Honda Classic there is still a spark in his game. This could be the week he puts it all together and breaks his winless drought.
