PGA Tour - 2018 Wyndham Championship Wrap-Up
August 21 2018 – AARON CAMILLERI

The last event of the regular PGA Tour season did not disappoint. After an opening round 59, which is the 10th sub-60 score ever posted on the PGA Tour, Brandt Snedeker would go on to defeat C.T. Pan and Webb Simpson by three strokes. After starting the final round with a one-stroke lead over David Hearn, Brandt played steadily with three birdies on the front nine and added a fourth on the 11th. A bogey on the 13th would tie him with C.T. Pan. They would remain tied as Pan played the 18th hole, where an out-of-bounds drive would lead to a double-bogey and give Snedeker a two-stroke lead going into the last. Sneds finished in style with a birdie on the last for a final-round 65 and his 9th career PGA Tour victory, which is his first in over 2 ½ years.
Next week, the FedEx Cup Playoffs kick off at The Northern Trust in Paramus, New Jersey.
