PGA Tour - 2018 Zurich Classic of New Orleans Wrap Up
May 01 2018 – AARON CAMILLERI

2018 Zurich Classic of New Orleans
The second installment of this golf tournament being a team event did not disappoint the fans, and in the end it was the duo of Billy Horschel and Scott Piercy who took home the trophy by one stroke over Jason Dufner and Pat Perez. Starting the day three back of last year's runner-up team of Kevin Kisner and Scott Brown, Horschel and Piercy shot an impressive bogey-free alternate shot round of 67, including a finishing stretch of seven straight pars. This marks the fifth win for Horschel and the fourth for Piercy, the latter of whom snapped a three-year winless drought.
Next week, the PGA Tour heads to Charlotte, North Carolina for the Wells Fargo Championship, where Tiger Woods will make his first start since Augusta National.
